RSDM Slot Diffuser
Purpose
Concealed mounting slot diffusers are employed in settings with elevated aesthetic requirements while maintaining technical specifications. They find use in supply-exhaust ventilation and various air conditioning systems. Designed for installation within gypsum board ceilings, these diffusers offer excellent aesthetic appeal. This is a modified version of the RSD, with altered adjustable blade mounting components. The blade itself is made from 3mm thick aluminum, enhancing its aesthetic attractiveness.
They allow for creating a continuous line, featuring active and inactive zones, thus creating a minimalist design. By adjusting the internal blade, airflow direction can be altered without affecting the air volume. RSDM diffusers permit a 60% change in airflow while retaining a stable air stream. These diffusers can be used at heights of up to 4 meters.
Construction and Materials
The construction of this model consists of a high-quality aluminum casing with horizontal slot openings, the quantity of which, depending on the model, can range from 1 to 4. Depending on the requirements, the slot width can be in three variants: 20, 30, or 40mm. The movable internal blade, made of aluminum, directs the airflow in the room (movable in the horizontal plane). The frame of this diffuser has fins for better adhesion of joint compound with gypsum board.
Depending on your airflow needs, the width of the slot and the length of the diffuser itself is individually selected, but at the same time, a solid single element should be no longer than 3m, preferably up to 2 meters, and the corner element RSDMA in the range of 300 to 1000mm. The standard length of the corner element is 500mm (measured on the long side, the outer side), and the standard angle is 90° (not specified), if different, it is written in the name.
It is possible to connect several elements to each other, so that they can be assembled in continuous lines of almost any length, even along the entire perimeter of the room.
For the production of diffusers, a decorative protective coating - powder coating is used. The standard color for coating is white (RAL-9016), but upon the customer's request, the casing and blades can be painted in different colors according to the RAL palette.
Manufacturing
Diffusers of this series include products of standard width: 20, 30, or 40mm. However, it is possible to manufacture any length L with an increment of 50mm within the range from 300 to 3000mm.
Example Order and Installation
RSDM-3-30-2 (RAL 9016/9005) L=500 – 3 – the number of slots is 3, 30 – slot width is 30mm, 2 – with 2 side flanges (closed edges). Suitable for elements up to 3 meters. Frame color – white, plate – black.
1 - one side closed, the other side open (joining plates included for connecting slit diffusers together). Suitable for elements longer than 3 meters.
0 - without side flanges (used as a middle element when installing multiple slit diffusers in a single line). Suitable for elements longer than 6 meters.

RSDMA-45°-2-40-1 (RAL 9005M/9005M) L=500 - 60° - angle, 2 - number of slots, 40 - width of the slot, 1 - number of end caps (complete with guide strips for centering when connecting to subsequent elements), RAL 9005M - color of the body (black matte), 9005M - color of the guide strip (black matte), L=500 - landing length of the diffuser.
Optional supply of a Plenum-Slot made from galvanized steel is available.
